Mode Global launches payments and rewards solution on iOS By Investing.com

Investing.com – UK fintech company Mode Global (LON:MODE) has announced it has launched its payments and rewards solution on Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS devices in public BETA.

The launch gives customers on Apple’s mobile operating system access to the same features as customers on Android, including frictionless payments and Mode’s instant Bitcoin cashback feature.

Customers of Mode will be able to try out features on the recently launched merchandise store, which has its payments solution integrated at checkout.

Mode also confirmed that starting from the end of the quarter, all Mode customers can start using the payments solution to shop at brands owned by THG (LON:THG). THG currently owns over 30 lifestyle brands, including MyProtein and LookFantastic.

“The past few months have been very exciting for Mode, with our BETA launch on Android and our announcement that we will be launching with THG starting from the end of Q3,” said Mode CEO Ryan Moore.

“I’m delighted to be rolling out our payments solution to iOS, a critical step in our expansion and growth strategy. This is a key delivery milestone for the team and an important step in building a product that addresses chronic pain points in the way people pay and grow their wealth.”

At 13:49BST, shares in Mode Global were trading higher by 8.6% at 46.98 pence per share.
